Slow fry… you mean like burning it? Isn’t frying usually fast?

Always slice the pork roll before you cook it. You were taught well

I’m in the “burnt bologna is peak” camp, but to each their own.

I had a fried bologna sandwich last night. It really hit the spot

Yup. With dijon mustard on a potato roll.

I craved fried bologna sandwiches a few times a year. It’s the only time I’ll use Kraft singles anymore.

Fried bologna in butter with grilled onions on a fresh onion roll, perfection

Yes please. I’ll take one all the way.

One of my fav’s. Fat stack with only yellow mustard on plain white bread.

  10. Ok. Every time I see fried bologna mentioned I bring this up. My extremely small farming community school had something on the menu called a “Bologna Boat”. A big slab of fried bologna. A huge scoop of instant mashed potatoes dead center. Government cheese melted over the top of everything.

As Mexicans in central Cali, we grew up eating fried bologna on tortillas. Heaven.
